About The Project

Escape Agency’s vision was simple: travel should inspire before it transacts. Too many booking websites feel transactional, leaving customers overwhelmed with options and uninspired to act. Escape Agency wanted to create a platform that blended technology with storytelling -> where every destination, activity, or trip felt like an adventure waiting to happen.

The Problem

Travelers were frustrated by generic booking portals that lacked authenticity, and agencies were losing business to larger competitors with stronger tech. Escape Agency needed a solution that went beyond simple booking forms — something that could differentiate them with engaging content, personalized itineraries, and seamless transactions.

Our Goal

The goal was to deliver a hybrid platform: part booking engine, part content hub. We aimed to empower Escape Agency to publish guides, blogs, and curated itineraries that would attract and inspire travelers while making the booking process smooth and intuitive.

Process

Developed a scalable booking engine with PHP and MySQL, integrated into a Node.js backend for performance
Created a rich content publishing system optimized for SEO with Markdown and WYSIWYG editors
Designed a modern, responsive UI using Vue.js and TailwindCSS for fast interactions
Implemented personalized recommendations based on traveler history and preferences
Wrote long-form travel guides, blog posts, and SEO-friendly landing pages with empathy-driven copy
Integrated Stripe and PayPal for secure payments
Set up analytics dashboards for monitoring bookings, engagement, and content performance
